Epson V350 scannerThe Epson Perfection V350 is a great piece of kit which not only scans film & slides very easily it also works well as a standard scanner.  User friendly, you should be scanning slides within 30 minutes of getting it out of the box.
With an auto film loader it does make the process of scanning film very easy in deed provided the film is fed into the scanner with care.

The only negative comment i would give on the Epson is scanning can be a little on the slow side but good things come to those who wait and the quality achieved is very good indeed, and using the bundled software you can tweek your images to achieve the desired results.

Product Features Description:

  • Scan 35mm film at the touch of a button with the Auto Film Loader
  • Capture amazing quality with 4800dpi and 48bit colour
  • Handle positive and negative film scanning with the built in Transparency Unit
  • Restore colour and clarity with new Epson Easy Photo Fix

Although it may not compare to a top of the range scanner i would recommend the Epson V350 to anyone wishing to scan old photos, slides or negatives with a view to acheiving decent results.

AmazonOnline retailer Amazon need little in the way of an introduction.  Possibly one of the internets most well known sites there is very little that they do not stock or stock on behalf of using their third party seller market place.

This makes it an idea place to shop for negative scanners and they suit pretty much all budgets whether it be a low price scanner right upto the high value items from such brands as Canon and Epson.
